Hello, I'm a punter and this is a bug report. This is the least-bad place I can find to leave it, so apologies if it's either known or if there's a better place to share bugs.
When applying for probate via this service, we were successful in steps 1 through 4. All good, very nice service design.
However, when it came to pay, we'd not got the right card handy. We logged in again a little later on a different device but again failed to find the right card.
When we logged back in an hour later on the original device, Step 3 (legal declaration) was no longer saying 'completed'
When we tried to repeat the actions required to complete Step 3, the links in emails sent to fellow executors 404'd, and hence we got stuck.
Your very helpful web chat support was able to override the breaking bug and submit our application, but we had to pay over phone and then use email in the hope that your support people can join up the dots at the back end.
Hope this bug report helps. Keep up the good work - it's great to be able to apply for probate this without needing wet sigs or a solicitor, and I know that getting to beta must have been a proper slog.
