Preshared Key Not in peer configuration files

Has anyone tried using a preshared key? I added preshared keys to my peers, but the client_conf and qrcode files did not include them. The server was expecting them. I manually put them into the client configs and they connected successfully. I think this is a bug, but wanted to get others input before I record as an issue
