advanced webhooks not triggering

What went wrong?

What happened:
Unable to trigger advanced webhooks no matter what. I have created a advanced webhook with a valid trigger template for the test alert I am generating from alerting -> contact point. I have set the trigger type as Manual Or Escalation Step. When I create a test alert, I tried to trigger it manually through the alert group but it does not trigger the webhook.

I have also added the trigger webhook to an escalation chain which is triggered when the cloud on call integration is run through the alerting contact point. Nothing seems to trigger an advanced webhook

What did you expect to happen:
The webhook is triggered when I trigger it.

How do we reproduce it?

1. Create outgoing Advanced webhook, give the details required
2. create sample test alert for an integration through alerting -> contact point -> grafana on call -> Test
