Flameshot Version

Flameshot v11.0.0 at winnt 10.0.19043

Installation Type

Linux, MacOS, or Windows Package manager (apt, pacman, eopkg, choco, brew, ...)

Operating System type and version

Windows 10 Pro

Description

CLI commands (https://flameshot.org/docs/advanced/commandline-options/) do not produce any output/action when called on MS windows.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch cmd.exe
  2. Navigate to the location with flameshot.exe
  3. try "flameshot.exe gui" or "flameshot.exe config"

What error/message do you get when you run those?

@mmahmoudian the cli piece is not ported to windows yet. Pretty sure there's an open issue for it

@borgmanJeremy I was under the impression that it is resolved as all the issues related to it is closed:

#1417 and #945

#2118 is the open issue. It's technically possible after the refactor but @veracioux flund some technicality we need to work around.

Nice! The #2118 didn't come up in my searches in the issues (probably because the used "arg" instead of "cli"). Anyways, I think we can close this in favor of #2118
