It would be good to classify events displayed in “Distance vs Depth” manually rather than automatically: The user may draw polygons in this “Distance vs Depth” plot and assign the events inside that polygon into a predefined class. At this stage, let’s assume that we have 4 general classes for events: Crustal, Interface, Intra-slab and unknown. The assigned class to each event can be appeared as a flag in the original catalogue. This might need some way to assign the flag to the selected points.
