It seems that when the vulnerability producer runs for a couple of days/weeks, the published_date field becomes missing for some vulnerability statements. For example, see this CVE-2020-5231.json on monster. Though, it has a published_date on the NVD database.
Possibly, when merging vulnerabilities, this issue may happen.
