Understand Smartlook API capabilities

Overview and rationale for work

We are eager to deepen our understanding of our users. Unlike Google Analytics, Smartlook is a cookieless analytics platform that provides a more accurate picture of user behaviour on the platform.

We aim to explore how we can utilise Smartlook’s API to enhance our analytics capabilities.

Tasks

  • How difficult is it to access and use the API
  • What data can we pull from there (from an analytics point of view)
  • How easy would it be to integrate the API to support analytics
