Ah that's good to know, thanks, I didn't realise they could be external. Am I right in thinking that it would be either a reference OR an inline feature collection? So you couldn't have more than one

navPlace can also be a referenced feature Collection (https://preview.iiif.io/api/navplace_extension/api/extension/navplace/#21-navplace-property) and there are a number of sources for this, including Who's on First (WoF) https://github.com/whosonfirst/go-whosonfirst-browser#iiif-navplace
It would be quite useful to have a way to toggle between a text box for a referenced featureCollection, and the map.
