How to update while using Portainer?

Hello,

I tried searching, but could not find any info on how to update to the latest version using Portainer?
Any help would be much appreciated!

DASHBOARD / Endpoint > CONTAINERS > search you container name > click on container for container details > RECREATE > pull latest image > RECREATE

Thanks for te reply! I just did that, and it was recreated. I started the container again successfully, but I'm still on v0.39.16 ?

my guess:
is your container image; version specific (ie: STATIC) ? if so, it will pull that same image that you already have. meaning the end user will not see a noticeable difference. if your container image version = LATEST (ie: DYNAMIC), re-pulling the image will pull the most current latest version, meaning you get the new one automatically through the recreate button

Hmm, I created it using Portianer stack, and it has the "latest" tag?

i suspect that image address is not correct; it may have worked in the past, who knows now. you are trying to troubleshoot a stack that is different than the installation instructions. also typing the address in my browser with the address ghcr.io/d... doesnt give me an image or working directory. go back to basics and see if that works and go from there.

That's what it was. Wrong URL. Once I updated the stack with the correct URL, it pulled the latest version.
