The deploy process is simple enough plus CF custom resources can be flaky sometimes mixed with Code Build image run times not being regularly updated to match EOL for the Node.js language.

Should probably do this with OIDC.

Actually maybe something like this S3 backed amplify web hosting feature might be a better choice https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/simplify-and-enhance-amazon-s3-static-website-hosting-with-aws-amplify/
