- 1 24oz jar or can of crushed tomatos or tomato puree
- 1 T olive oil
- 1/4 to 1/2 of a medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 t Italian seasoning
- salt to taste
- Chop onion, garlic and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sautee the onion and garlic until the onion is translucent.
- Add salt, Italian seasoning and bell pepper and sautee until the pepper begins to soften.
- Add crushed tomatos and simmer while the rest of your meal cooks.
