Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup white vinegar
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoon sugar (optional)
- 1 tablepoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 clove of garlic
- Dash of crushed red pepper (optional)
- 8-10 sliced jalapeños
Directions:
- Bring vinegar, water, sugar, salt, oregano, garlic, and red pepper to a boil in a saucepan
- Stir in sliced jalapeños, then remove from heat
- Cover saucepan and allow it to sit for 15-20 minutes
- Use tongs to put the jalapeños into a jar, then pour in the rest of the mixture until the jar is full
- Refridgerate for atleast 30 minutes (preferably overnight)
