Downloaded the latest release of Persephone today, but opening it produces this error:

I'm running macOS Ventura 13.3.1 (22E261) on a M1 MacBook Pro.

You just need to open it in finder, it's not this application specific error.

This project looks abandoned though.

Trying to open it in Finder gives the error I provided a screenshot of, which is absolutely due to a problem or problems with Persephone.

This project looks abandoned though.

You never know!

In the Finder window don't just double-click to open the file, but right-click > Open.

Sadly Persephone has languished lately due to lack of time. I do intend to go back to it at some point.

Another option is to go to the security section in the system settings shortly after getting that pop-up and clicking the button to permit it to run.
