Updates and Future Plans for the Sentinel Project

I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to provide an update on the recent changes we've made to the Sentinel project and discuss our roadmap as we move forward.

Recent Changes:

1. AutoGen Integration:

   • We've integrated AutoGen into our project to automate documentation and client library generation.
   • The autogen_config.yaml file has been set up to specify our project's source directory, desired outputs, and other specific settings.
   • This will streamline our development process and ensure that our documentation is always up-to-date.

2. AgentChat Development:

   • Introduced two new agents: planner and dev.
   • The planner agent is designed to assist with project planning tasks. It can be queried for tasks, milestones, and other planning-related queries.
   • The dev agent is our development assistant. It's equipped with functions to assist developers and can even query the planner for planning-related information.
   • Both agents are powered by the GPT-3.5 Turbo model, ensuring high-quality responses.

3. Code Structure:

   • Introduced a new directory, agentchat, housing the planner.py and developer.py files.
   • We've also added utility and constants files to keep our codebase organized and maintainable.
   • A tests directory has been set up to ensure that our agents and other functionalities are working as expected.

Future Plans:

1. Expand AgentChat Capabilities:

   • We plan to introduce more agents to cater to different aspects of the project, such as testing, deployment, and monitoring.
   • Enhance the capabilities of the existing agents by training them with more specific data related to our project.

2. Automate Testing:

   • With the introduction of the tests directory, we aim to automate our testing process. This will help us identify and rectify issues faster.

3. Enhance AutoGen Integration:

   • We'll be exploring more features of AutoGen to see how we can further optimize our development process.
   • This includes automating API documentation, generating client libraries for more languages, and more.

4. Feedback Loop:

   • As we integrate these new features, we'll be setting up a feedback loop. This will allow us to gather feedback from the team and make iterative improvements.

5. Documentation and Training:

   • We'll be organizing training sessions for the team to get acquainted with the new tools and processes.
   • Comprehensive documentation will be provided to assist with the onboarding process.
