Mobile browser event alerm not working #19
Comments
I have a few questions:
|
Tested chrome on Android and it looks like it causes the screen to go blank, which is really strange. Initial search found that nobody is investigating this issue. There must be something out there. In the meanwhile, I added a 30 second timeout for the notification at which point it closes. This seems to release the screen so you can refresh and get the clock back. This is not ideal but it is some relief rather than having to go and clear the browsing history for the site and reload. Investigation ongoing. |
No alerm button on Android browser |
Ah, yeah. The alarm button is hidden in portrait mode. It's too many
columns, and I haven't found a good alternative.
Notifications in chrome for android seem to be an issue, separately.

I tried enabling the alarm feature in desktop site mode, but the browser
does not register the alarm.
