Otherwise your package won't work any longer with Python 3.13.x

Sorry for delay. took a whlie to get head back into the code. Just been doing an upgrade to elementpath lib to make it worth it . should make us compatible with xpath3. was a bit iffy due to an iterator bug in the Text class. Should have a release together soon.

I have bagged and tagged an updated version. Please let me know how you get on. I haven't actually upgraded python myself yet and relying on the git worflow test runner.
