Question: How will this Hackathon run?
- August 5 (Launch Event) - Work through some tutorials then begin work on your hackathon challenge (individual or group).
- August 6-10 - Work on your hackathon challenge.
- August 10 - Submit your hackathon challenge by 2pm MDT.
Question: How do I submit my completed challenge notebook(s)?
For your challenge notebook(s) follow these steps to submit them to us for judging. If you are working in a group only one group member should submit but make sure all of your group members name's are included in your notebook(s).
- File -> Download as -> Notebook (.ipynb)
- Attach the notebook file(s) to your email and send it to

Question: How do I handle programming errors?
A common scenario when programming is having errors come up when running your code. Have a look at this video where Laura, a Callysto data scientist, helps you work through some common errors.
Question: Where can I find some Python and markdown help?
Google will be your friend here including Stack Overflow. We also have Python and markdown, and pandas cheatsheets for common commands.
Question: How will my hackathon submission be evaluated?
Your hackathon submission will be evaluated using the following rubric by our expert panel of judges. Top submissions will be awarded prizes.
