  • Etcher version: 1.7.9
  • Operating system and architecture: Debian 11.6 bullseye
  • Image flashed: n/a
  • What do you think should have happened:
  • What happened: etcher was installed using the debian provided repository -- now it looks like the repo is offline for some reason.
  • Do you see any meaningful error information in the DevTools? n/a

This is the contents of /etc/apt/sources.list.d/etcher.list:

# Source: Cloudsmith ([email protected])
# Repository: balena / etcher
# Description: Flash OS images to SD cards & USB drives, safely and easily.

deb https://dl.cloudsmith.io/public/balena/etcher/deb/debian bullseye main
deb-src https://dl.cloudsmith.io/public/balena/etcher/deb/debian bullseye main

This shows up when updating using apt-get update:

E: Failed to fetch https://dl.cloudsmith.io/public/balena/etcher/deb/debian/dists/bullseye/InRelease 402 Payment Required [IP: 18.160.249.56 443]
E: The repository 'https://dl.cloudsmith.io/public/balena/etcher/deb/debian bullseye InRelease' is no longer signed.

The repository appears offline.
