AltStore using old apple id account name somehow?

I'm installing altstore for the first time, and I noticed that when I sign into altstore it's using my old name, which I changed on my apple account 2 or 3 years ago by now. There's no trace of this name anywhere in my account settings or apple developer settings, and I have also never used altstore before. Moreover, all of my altstore apps are put in a folder in my app library with that old name. Is there a way to fix this? I have no idea where it's even getting this name from. I don't really care about the app having the wrong name but the app folder being always there bothers me.
