  • In profile edit screen, add an autocomplete field to select a user
  • In the user list, clicking the "View" link would open the profile for a connected user
  • If a user has a profile, that profile is chosen by default when creating new posts

TBD: what should the UX be when creating new posts if the current user does not have a profile?
Some ideas:

  • make the byline a required field
  • allow bylines to be empty
  • populate some sort of default
    • offer a setting for the default byline for anonymous articles, e.g. "{Publication Name} Staff"?

Should any fields stay in sync? e.g. if a name or email changes in the user account, should it change in the profile post?
