Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

The summary widget card date options (and potentially options like this in general) offer things like "3 months", "6 months" etc, but they all include the current partial month which is a variable unit of time which can be quite misleading as the income and expenses for the current month may or may not have taken place. In situations like the summary widget's "average per month" this can be very misleading - today is Jan 1, so I've had no expenses or income so far this month but the 3 month period applies a denominator of 3 reducing the average.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

An "only completed months" checkbox could be added which would adjust the start and end month back by one so that it instead uses data up to and including the most recently completed month instead.

Teaching and learning

I don't know what the right name for the option is, but help info on the checkbox for guidance and because the applicablke months are shown in the widget editor it should be reasonably self explanatory
