product.json with portable version of VSCodium

Is it possible to use product.json to change an extension gallery in the portable version of VSCodium?

For clarification, the portable application stores user data in the "data" folder, which can be created manually after extracting the zip file. In my case, placing product.json inside the root folder or inside the data folder does not change anything.

Oh sorry! I didn't think hard enough to try putting this file inside `data\user-data'. It seems to be working now.
