Description

For future developers, we should have an explanation of the steps it takes to add a new feature. This should be more evident after the refactor.

Validation and testing

Have someone (Lauren/Ni) follow the docs to add a feature with the new structure.

Motivation

We want Tulipa to grow and evolve with new contributors in the future

Model developers
