[feature] Personal time overview/budgets #55
Comments
It's already implemented in Pendulums 2.0 which will come in a few weeks. You will see an area chart (not a pie chart) that shows how much you have spent on different project in the last week, etc. Regarding to the progress bar, COOL! I like it, thanks for suggesting, we will add this to our plans. PRs and donations are always welcome and we will add our contributors to the website too. as you mentioned, for the progress bar we need some API implementations so stay tuned, I will update you when we have implemented the API for it. thank you. |
Any idea of when this might get released or at least into beta testing? |
We have received almost no donation during recent 3 years. So me and Armin
are currently the only developers of this project. So everything moves
slowly. Tomorrow I'm going to investigate some features and update you. FYI
we are developing on new-ux branch.

Ok I think you have already got your answer in instagram. But to be more clear I made #99 So you check the progress there. |
This is an idea I have for a bit - I have many projects, some personal, some for assemblies, some for university, some for work. It would be awesome to have a personal pie chart along the lines of "How much have I worked in the last week/month/... for which project?"
This could be taken further by adding a weekly "time budget" to projects, where I can say "I want to work 10 hours on my side-job, and spend 30 hours for university", and then get a progress bar showing how much I've already done that week for each project.
Other ideas regarding personal time management would include a yearly chart ("In which week have I worked how much for which project"), or a chart similar to the contributions chart on GitHub profiles for each project.
Would that be something you'd like a PR for? I think it would also require some changes to the API/backend tough.
