Change log for pytrioss
2023.04.04
Upgraded with a slimmer version of a reader as minimum working example: read from either G1 or G2 sensors, set integration time and log to file.
This has only been developed and tested with RAMSES radiometers.
2023.01.04
Upgraded to the version of PyTrios used in the So-Rad system (see https://github.com/monocle-h2020/so-rad).
The codebase has also been brought back to just the implementation of PyTrios sensor monitoring, minus added peripherals such as GPS. The So-Rad codebase is a more versatile solution for system integration.
- Removed old, broken examples
- Updated to Python3
- Added a test script
- Added a single 'manager' interface
- Removed gpslib
2015.12.28
Xmas project: Completely revamped PyTrios library.
Major refactoring: main functionality wrapped in TChannel and TPacket classes in TClasses.py:
- TPacket identifies what sort of packet (query, measurement, config) a sensor sent
- TChannel represents a single module
- TChannel instances are collected in the tchannel dictionary which no longer requires you to track which sensor is linked to which serial port (see example)
- tpackethandler links tpackets to previously identified tchannels
- most common commands for SAM sensors are brought under their respective TChannel subclass, TSAM
- most common commands for MicroFlu are not yet integrated (because I don't have the sensors)
- TChannel offers two ways to monitor measurement progress (tchannel.is_finished() and tchannel.is_pending())
The front-end (PyTrios.py) is now limited to the active monitoring of COM ports and subsequent handling of packets
