starrocks connector v1.0.4 suddenly stopped processing Kafka events while the connector status still shows RUNNING. This caused data loss on our target Starrocks tables.
Restarting the connector via the Kafka Connect Rest API resumed the event stream.
We have detectors set up on the connector to alert on FAILED status. However it didn't help as the connector status remains RUNNING.
