The basebox has no menu. It's using Ubuntu's weird Activities view for moving between applications. We may need to install some kind of menu system so that we can expose the SamuraiWTF menu structure to students.

This is patched in the Vagrant provisioning script but the fix should be migrated to the base box.

Which desktop are we going to "officially" support? I figured out how to remove Gnome, and then we won't have to worry about the weird activities thing. Unless we want to support Gnome....?
