This is regarding the support for latest emoji fonts

This app is designed for providing CJK fonts with all font weights in the first place. But the biggest problem is users have to download an extra app. In the last few years, only very few users are willing to do.
No Android 9 support yet since no updates from 2018. I can add Android 9 support and the latest emoji font, but it seems not that meaningful.
By the way, if you only want emoji, is there anything that Google's solution not satisfy you?

I was having an issue with QKSMS(from fdroid) and latest emojis. And had no success with Google's solution. Maybe Google preventing side loaded apps from getting the fonts.
I wanted to see if this is the case, then this app can help a lot of users without Google Play Services
