I have followed the instructions and injection seems to be working (since I do get the request to access the book container), but when I open an ebook, I never get a prompt for saving the unencrypted version.

I am running macOS Ventura 13.7 and Books is version 5.2.

You may need a newer version of macOS/Books to use the new version. Instead, try using version 1.
