VR Designtool Navigation Template

This repo illustrates the implementation of two-handed translation, rotation and scaling of 3D models using either a Vive or an Oculus Rift. It can be used as a template to handle navigation in VR-based design tools.

Usage

  1. Clone Repo
  2. Open in Unity
  3. Import SteamVR (https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/32647)
  4. Import OVR (https://developer.oculus.com/downloads/package/oculus-utilities-for-unity-5/)
  5. Open the #Projects/_scene/main.unity scene
  6. Any 3D content parented to the 'Model' Gameobject in the Hierarchy can be manipulated with the gripbuttons on either Vive controllers or Oculus Touch
