First of all thank you very much for all the work done on this plugin

I experienced an segfault issue with it.

  • Linux Mint 21
  • Opencpn 5.10.2
  • frcurrent 1.5.0

Based on the post of stelian on the Cruiserforum, I managed to find a workaround. Changing Language in Options>User Interface to English (United Kindom) instead of English (US) solve the issue. Apparently the issue is not restricted to PI hardware.

v1.10.0 on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
I needed to use the fix shown by ThomTrab.
@Ptizef has added some useful features and corrected some bugs.
