Enabling Frame Generation #15
Comments
found it, thanks! edited |
keep the nice work <3 |
Thank you for shipping the most wished mod. RTX30 Cards saved. |
UPDATE FIXED IT: Original post// |
I'm having the same problem, and i have a RTX 3070 Ti |
+1 3050 ti |
wich game? cyberPunk? sure put it in folder bin/64? |
RTX 3060, frame gen doesn't work for me. The game is Cyberpunk (bought in the EPIC games), Win 11. I tried versions 0.21, 0.3 and 0.5. I followed all the instructions from Reed me, checked that the HAGS was enabled, disabled V-sync and HDR. There is no pop-up window. |
I get the popup (in MSFS), but I don't get any option for Frame Generation in the Graphics Settings. Not even grayed out. I have an Nvidia RTX 3090. EDIT: It was not mentioned anywhere but you have to turn on DX12 for Frame Generation to work. (You know what happens when you ASSUME?) |
Didn't have a pop-up window, but I can enable DLSS Frame Generation, followed all instructions (Cyberpunk 2077, RTX 3050) |
is possible to run same mod on Skyrim as well? ^^ Thank you for the amazing mod |
my framegen is not activating it just stays gray |
any more details? what card? what you tried to do? followed guide? legal game? |
Hopefully support for GTX cards is added in the near future if possible. FSR 3 frame gen works for my GTX 1650 in Avatar frontiers of pandora. Thanks for the great work anyway! |
Will you work on adapting this mod for GTX cards? We're discussing these three mods mentioned in the forums, and your mod seems the most flawless, but it's sad that it's exclusive to the RTX series. We're eagerly awaiting its development. |
Works initially for me, but it seems as time progresses my game (in this case Microsoft Flight Sim 2020) begins to flicker and eventually it will freeze and CTD. Known issue? |
3080 ti, I can see the popup in Witcher 3 but FG is greyed out |
DisableNvidiaSignatureChecks |
on alan wake 2 i can play it. when i mark up on dlssfg it crash and send me error "UINT64" error. due to remove. |
solutionz? please i wanna play Alan Wake 2 with my rtx 2070 lol |
will this mod work with Alan wake 2 ??/ i have rtx 3070 |
Of course I did that, still greyed out. Epic games version btw. Works OK in Alan Wake 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 |
its working on Alan wake 2 but random crashes i am facing .... may be craashes caused by Reshade app also because i have installed and using Reshade ..... also without enabling reshade fps is fine when enabled the reshade app the fps lcoked to 30. |
From my experience it doesn't work well on 20-series GPUs, I get constant lag and judder when FG is enabled no matter what. And yes, I also use Vsync but it does not help. If you're getting 60+ FPS on a FPS counter with FG enabled, then the image should look like 60+ FPS but it doesn't when tested on a 2080 Super, but it works as intended on every single 30-series FG video I've seen. AMD themselves don't recommend 20-series GPUs for FG, likely due to slower Async Compute. |
Does not work in the epic games cyberpunk 2077 |
Cap your fps to half your refresh rate then it's smooth. In my case, I capped it to 150fps on my 300hz screen. Made a huge difference. |
Alan wake has the option grayed out for me. Tried everything. Cyberpunk (steam version) works perfectly. |
It's working great on my 2070super. It should work even better on your GPU. Tested with Alan Wake 2 and Lords of the Fallen. |
It would be important to add in the readme file or even in the nexusmod home page that every time the video driver is updated or cleaned via software (DDU for example) the register files for verifying the signature are restored and the changes must be reapplied, this applies also for those who use DLSS Tweaks. |
In my opinion there is no improvement in smoothness because this mod is showing only the bug described here by NVIDIA: The FPS is not doubled, the new generated frame is identical to the previous one |
This has nothing to do with AMD FSR3, it's not a bugged dll like it was reported long time ago with Portal RTX and the link you have provided. This are real generated frames. Nukem9 is just replacing DLSSG with the AMD PLugin regarding their frame generation not the Nvidia one. |
it only worked for me in cyberpunk and a plague tale requiem. it is not working in other dlss 3 games even though i followed every step. pls help |
It works perfect, I tried it in the witcher 3, warzone (I removed it), but it doesn't work in dying light 2. (RTX 3090) |
It should be noted that AMD themselves suggest a 30-series RTX GPU for FG, and since it's software-based it's most likely that the more powerful GPU you have the better. 20-series GPUs are supported but not recommended, I use a 2080 Super and don't get nearly as good results as most other people I've seen. |
Same problem, were you able to solve it? |
It's not working in DXVK / VK games properly just yet it needs to be impllemented a bit differently since fsr3 doesnt officialy support it right now, not to say it's impossible but nukem responded in another issue that he doesn't have time for that yet view #141 |
Unfortunately nothing helps yet. What's your setup? |
My game will start to lag and have the ms numbers start to get extremely high, especially with the CPU and manipulators. I have RTX 3080 and I9-13900KF, 32 GB RAM. Does anyone know what could be causing this. Thank you! :) |
I'm getting this in Ghostrunner 2 - maybe not enough VRAM and/or a memory leak. |
I think that I have 10GB or 12GB. Is this enough? |
Frame Generation can run also in GTX cards. Please modify your article. Thank you. |
hab das selbe problem |
I have same problem on Cyberpunk with my 3070ti |
ty this worked on me but I also disable geforce experience ingame overlay so dont sure it is sole reason |
I'm not doing anything wrong, I've done it several times step by step according to the instructions, I've also tried different settings in MSFS but the setting to activate the FR never appears |
Just for test, try to use DLSS Swapper and use the latest dll. Did you reboot Windows after GPU scheduling option changes? |
yes, PC restarted after each change |
Frame generation requires a few steps to set things up correctly:
This will result in screen tearing. To restore vertical sync and keep frame generation working properly, open Nvidia Control Panel, navigate to "Manage 3D settings", and enable "Vertical sync" for your specific game.
Old framerate limiters don't work correctly. Check if they explicitly support frame generation first.
