We made this POC earlier for opening a specific XYZ layer in VEDA JupyterHub QGIS at the click of a button:

Will we turn this into a production feature?

Acceptance criteria

Confirm intention to make this a production feature
Confirm that the JupyterHub QGIS API is in production
Review the current design
Implement and release feature
