So I've manged to get the break function to work when using Tera Term instead of Putty - putty was non responding to key strokes. The message: BREAK detected - press any key to stop the ipl within 5000ms! comes up, but the loop continues and does not register any further keystrokes. I will try to connect some of it back to the car while UART is still connected and see if that changes anything. It's like the module doesn't start up correctly, the fan is in an on/off loop, as well as the LED light in the front of the MMI module, it's blinking. If that doesn't do anything I guess I'm screwed! 😒 |

Hi @Ildpayne. Have you managed to solve the problem ever? I think, I have a very similar issue. After installing MI, applying the PATCH, and restarting, the MMI freezes with the last picture on it what it had before the installation. It doesn't react to any button and it reboots after about 1 minute. |

Collegues - do you try this solving https://github.com/Mr-MIBonk/M.I.B._More-Incredible-Bash/wiki/ExceptionList-BUG?: "Hence, you still should have your D-Link USB-Ethernet adapter flying around!? Unit is still accessible via telnet and uart. |

Hi!
I've just installed the MIB on my car and then proceeded to flash with the MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P3638_MU0917 patch, which matched mine. Everything seem to go well and then it rebooted.
Now the MMI starts on the SD card media page and is locked - no buttons or controls working - I can hardreset it, but the same thing happens, it goes to the SD card menu and I can't do anything from there.
What happened and how can I fix it? I made a backup before doing anything.
Thank you in advance.
Here is the log of the process:
