So far there was not enough feedback on the specification.

Therefore we are stuck at the moment.

If someone would help with finalising the specification, the next step would be to build a road map.

As it seems it makes no sense to support git as the main transport. At the moment I'm investigating how to extend org-mobile.el to support attachments. So there is some progress, but very little.

@pvinis, do the offer still stand?

I'd also be very interested to help and have a whole month of time right now that I can spend almost entirely on this.

What can I do to help?

I invited you both to the developer room at Gitter.

If we could agree on a roadmap, the most urgent task is to built the UI I think. That is because the frontend stuff is not really my domain 😄

Hi! I'm also interested to help. I'm quite happy with the current app, but the plans you have in the specification document looks very interesting.

My thoughts are along the same lines as this Reddit comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/orgmode/comments/5q6ldt/what_would_you_like_to_see_in_the_next_mobileorg/dcx3psb/.

My main use case is "i make my agenda on my desktop, and when i am outside the office/house I am just ticking off TODO items. Get the milk, feed the dog, mow the lawn, make it to my BJJ class by 5:30, etc."

My phone is my main capturing device when I'm on the run, so I'd like to work on better ways to capture information like support for the share feature in iOS, camera integration etc.

I also noticed that someone has written an almost complete org-mode parser in Swift https://github.com/xiaoxinghu/swift-org, maybe we could utilize that?

Maybe you've not seen the incubator yet: https://github.com/MobileOrg/Incubator/tree/master/Swift-Org-PoC

I haven't seen the incubator, thanks for the link! So there is already a parser to be used for v2. How is the roadmap coming along? Do you need help with anything at the moment?

If you like you could start building an UI based on the Core Data model we've used in the incubator.
