Rig-remote uses rigctl as a protocol over tcp/ip to connect to other receivers (software or hardware). So far it has been used mostly with GQRX.

  • I want to review the interaction with other software using rigctl and make sure it's working as expected.
  • I want to scope and review the impact of implementing hamlib support for interacting with other software providing hamlib as a communication interface.

no need for hamlib support, rigctld provides already everything

I would like to have some test performed with some real rigs and rigctl/hamlib but I don't have any..
