For a good amount of time, I have been unable to program the device. I have tried many things from placing a 10uF between GND and EN to pressing Boot multiple times. And only today, when I pulled the board out of the expansion bed, it programmed without a hiccup.

What may be wrong with the expansion board? Can you point to where its schematics may be?
