Guidelines

  • I have searched the issue tracker for open and closed issues that are similar to the feature request I want to file, without success.
  • I have searched the documentation for information that matches the description of the feature request I want to file, without success.
  • This issue contains only one feature request.

Problem Description

The current subscription page shows one big list sorted by recency of upload. This creates a problem where more frequently uploading content creators end up drowning those that upload less frequently.

Proposed Solution

I propose an alternative view (that could be toggled) that shows the subscription page as a vertical list of all the subscriptions with the 5 most recently uploaded videos shown under each subscriber heading. This would allow users to browse all of their subscriptions equally instead of having their subscriptions flooded with frequent uploads

Alternatives Considered

An alternative could be to modify the subscription algorithm to post videos equally from all subscribers and use the existing change but that seems like a less intuitive way from the solution above.

I think what you're looking for is splitting your subscriptions into multiple profiles. Then, you can filter your subscription list based on the selected profile. You can organize your subscriptions into different profiles using the profile manager.
