How to Run the Script with freerdp3?

Linux Mint cinnamon freezing issue still persists as previously discussed in the link below:

How can we run the script with freerdp3 instead of freerdp2 so we can try if the problem is solved with version 3. When running the bin/winapps check it still says:

You need xfreerdp!
sudo apt-get install -y freerdp2-x11

But I only have freerdp3 installed.
