you may find looking at our Ri3D code helpful

needs to

have one falcon 500
control the falcon via a VS Code PID loop
include a through bore encoder for feedback
drive the elevater to several fixed level heights [L1, L2, L3, intake]
protect against driving the elevator through a hard stop
