Dear students,
a reminder for the assignments, final project and our next lectures.

The exercises are:

  • laser cut a 10x10x5 cm snap fit box
  • 3D scan your head
  • 3D print the scan of your head
  • cnc mill a countermould from the scan of your head
  • cast the silicon in the countermould and use the resulting mould to create an ice or resin copy of your head

Please remember that you have to document all these exercises on our GitHub repository inside your folder: https://github.com/DigitalFabricationStudio/Project_0.4/

For the final project: remember to upload a description of your project as a README.md file in your folder in a specific Final Project folder.
We are going to meet live on Adobe Connect on Monday 12th of May at 9:00 Helsinki time for checking your project evolution.

For the final presentation, we are going to meet live on Adobe Connect on Friday 16th of May at 16:00 Helsinki time (unfortunately I cannot make it in the morning, but this means that you have another half day for completing your projects). Please remember that at that time your project should be documented on GitHub.

Please remember that if you need help with the project or exercises I can help you, but the file must already be on GitHub.
