In staging, once ACS Census updates are complete, users will see the following in the downloadable DAC community file and interactive map
Expected Outcomes
Census tracts will now include scores reflecting various burdens, based on ACS and Decennial Census data, enabling users to identify DACs (Disadvantaged Communities) in both the map and downloadable files. This includes:
Low Income: High percentages of low-income residents.
Lead paint: Homes with potential of lead exposure (≥ 90th percentile).
Educational Attainment: Less than 10% of residents with a high school diploma.
Linguistic Isolation: High levels of non-English-speaking households (≥ 90th percentile).
