But I'm gonna ship a commit that removes the check for it as a dependency within cocoapods-install-plugin in #131, it's been a blocker for weeks.

I think this should be fixed by duplicating the 0.4.5 gem but change the version in the gem spec to 0.4.3.

It's about making changes to our rakefile that would generate the ruby environment, there's not really an easy work around there that people not working in a dev environment for the Mac app can do
