I think a good use case for the import character option would be to bring a seamless co-op character over to the normal game but you'd want to remove the items from the inventory before saving.
Finding the item IDs used in seamless co-op and adding compatability to detect those items would be a seperate really cool addition

Removing items from the storage box would be greatly appreciated! Currently have 600 Radiant Baldachin's Blessings in there, which is causing an 'altered items' warning to pop up. I should probably stay offline until I can remove them, no?

It's not as straightforward as simply removing an entry from a single list, unfortunately. I'll explore ways to simplify this process in the upcoming release.
