Wrap Supervisor MCL in try catch #5

Two tasks:

  1. Unit test MCL to the fullest to make sure all errors are caught and all assertions are removed.
  2. Wrap MCL in a try catch loop, with an error resulting in an attempt to restart the system, and possibly aborting the system.
