context menu item 'Delete' - needed?

Sublime, VSCode: not such context menu item!

GEdit: such item exists.

CudaText: item exists. Is it needed?

As much as Cut, Copy, Paste... Should keep it. Firefox, for instance, has it. Right click any text field and see.

I'm not sure about keeping it visible when it's disabled, for me it's better to hide it as you just did with the "Open URL", I see no reason to take up space when disabled, making enabled items furthest away from reach.
