I know that AM stereo is not very common anymore. But there are still a few stations like "Radio Studio X" (1188 KHz) from Italy, which transmit in AM stereo. In general, AM stereo is also suitable for standard AM transmissions (no matter if longwave, mediumwave or shortwave) to create a pseudo stereo effect, where the lower sideband is output on the left and the upper sideband on the right stereo channel. The Kiwi-SDR offers this function to play back standard AM as "SAS" and I don't want to miss it anymore. This makes it very easier to hear weaker signals out of the background noise. It would be great if SDR++ also had a switch for AM stereo / SAS. Theoretically, it shouldn't be a big thing to output the lower and upper sidebands on the left/right stereo channel.
