Video displays in pop up in IE

Hi. Had a few issues getting this plugin to work. I had the 64 bit version of VLC installed. After installing the 32 bit version, it worked well, except that it doesn't embed the video, it pops up a new window with the video in (and it says Direct3D in brackets next to it)

How can I fix this so that it embeds it in the page?

Mhh I'm not sure this can be fixed as it looks browser behavior related. No information about a workaround on my side sorry.
