Zoom gets canceled when cursor moves outside the chart canvas

Hello, not sure if anyone is doing anything for this plugin anymore. It is a great plugin :)
Maybe someone else has ran into this and has a workaround?

Issue
Zoom gets canceled when cursor moves outside the chart canvas

Expected behaviour
As long as the mouse button is held down the zoom area would just end at the end of the canvas and not get canceled.
