I think it's possible. Could you provide more information about the errors that occur when the limit is reached? Is this Too many materials, max %d?

Got it. If you have a model that leads to this compilation error, then please attach it here, it will be much easier to fix the problem.

Test model. That patch seems pretty good.

Greetings, sorry for the late reply. Apparently, I managed to expand the materials limit to 127; the attached model compiles successfully, but I'm not sure how it will behave in the game. Could you check this please? You can use the 2.3.0 release version.
